By accessing or using any Zolltor AI service—including Zolltor Tariff Intelligence (“ZTI”) and Trade Buzz—you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.
Zolltor AI provides two distinct trade-intelligence services, each with its own access model:

Our Content: All content, features, and functionality of the Services—including text, analyses, visualizations, software, and design—are owned by Zolltor AI GmbH and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Data (ZTI): You retain ownership of any data you input into ZTI. By using ZTI, you grant us a limited licence to use your data solely to provide and improve the Subscription Service.
Source Data: Tariff and regulatory data is sourced from official government databases (TARIC, WTO ePing) and remains subject to their respective terms.
Trade Buzz is provided free of charge. In return, any use of Trade Buzz outputs—including but not limited to charts, data, trend analyses, summaries, or any derivative content—in your own reports, publications, presentations, social media posts, client deliverables, or any other materials, whether commercial or non-commercial, must include the following attribution:

Failure to provide proper attribution constitutes a violation of these Terms and an infringement of Zolltor AI’s intellectual property rights. Zolltor AI reserves the right to require correction or removal of improperly attributed content and to restrict access to Trade Buzz in cases of repeated or wilful non-compliance.
The following provisions apply exclusively to ZTI. Trade Buzz is provided at no cost.
Fees: Access to ZTI requires a paid subscription. Fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis as specified in your subscription agreement.
Billing: You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.
Refunds: Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in your subscription agreement.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Information for Reference Only: Our Services provide trade intelligence based on official data sources. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information.
Not Professional Advice: Our Services do not constitute legal, tax, customs, or professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals for specific guidance.
Third-Party Data: We rely on official government sources (European Commission TARIC, WTO ePing) for underlying data. We are not responsible for errors or delays in source data.
AI-Generated Content: Summaries and insights are generated by AI and should be verified against official sources for critical decisions.
Trade Buzz is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Zolltor AI makes no commitment regarding the availability, update frequency, or continuity of Trade Buzz and may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Free Service at any time without notice.
We strive to provide reliable Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time with reasonable notice. For the avoidance of doubt, the notice requirement in this section applies to ZTI; Trade Buzz may be modified or withdrawn without prior notice as stated in Section 9.
Zolltor AI GmbH shall be liable without limitation for damages resulting from intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit), as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health and in cases of mandatory statutory liability, including under the German Product Liability Act.
In cases of simple negligence (einfache Fahrlässigkeit), Zolltor AI GmbH shall only be liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations (wesentliche Vertragspflichten). In such cases, liability shall be limited to the typical, foreseeable damage at the time of conclusion of the contract.
For users of the paid ZTI subscription service, the total aggregate liability of Zolltor AI GmbH for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Subscription Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by the customer for ZTI in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
For users of the free Trade Buzz service, the total aggregate liability of Zolltor AI GmbH shall not exceed one hundred euros (€100), reflecting the free nature of the service.
Zolltor AI GmbH shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or purely economic damages, including lost profits, unless such damages result from intent or gross negligence.
The above limitations also apply to the personal liability of employees, representatives, and agents of Zolltor AI GmbH.
You agree to indemnify and hold Zolltor AI harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your failure to comply with the Trade Buzz attribution requirement set out in Section 6.
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to such collection and use as described in the Privacy Policy.
Trade Buzz and Personal Data: Trade Buzz does not require registration or the provision of personal data. If you access Trade Buzz without creating an account, we process only the minimal technical data described in our Privacy Policy (e.g., server logs, anonymized usage analytics).
ZTI: We may terminate or suspend your ZTI account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use ZTI ceases immediately.
Trade Buzz: Because Trade Buzz does not require an account, our remedy for violation of these Terms—including failure to comply with the attribution requirement—is to restrict or block your access to Trade Buzz and to pursue any available legal remedies.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For ZTI subscribers, we will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. For Trade Buzz users, changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of any Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions, and, where applicable, the laws of the European Union.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the city where Zolltor AI GmbH is registered.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable ZTI subscription agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Zolltor AI regarding the Services.
